Syuri, Rina and Natsupoi Confirmed for Hana Kimura Memorial

By: J. Curbelo

After fans were fearing that it might not happen again, Kyoko Kimura confirmed earlier this year that she would organize a third Hana Kimura Memorial show on May 23rd this year. Involving several wrestlers who were related to or involved in Hana’s life and career, three STARDOM wrestlers were confirmed to appear with pending announcements.

While the show stems from the devastating event that was Kimura’s passing, the wrestling community as a whole thoroughly enjoyed both editions of the show in 2021 and 2022, with the latter being described universally as more of a celebration of Hana’s life than an act of mourning. Both shows were streamed on Japanese services as well as FITE TV.

Throughout the last few weeks we have seen the reveals of each STARDOM member in the show, in order being Rina, Syuri and Natsupoi. Aside from the STARDOM wrestlers, talent confirmed for the 2023 edition are ASUKA (A.K.A. VENY), Chihiro Hashimoto, Fuminori Abe, Hanako Nakamori, Koji Kanemoto, Masao Hanabatake, Mika Iwata, Mio Momono, Miyuki Takase, Munenori Sawa, Ram Kaicho, Ryo Mizunami, Sakura Hirota, Saori Anou, Seigo Tachibana, Shotaro Ashino, Super Delfín, Tatsuhito Senga and Yuko Miyamoto.

As with merch, proceeds from all these shows go directly to Kyoko Kimura, her legal case against Fuji TV and the Remember Hana NPO. Kyoko stated that she continuously fights to restore Hana’s honor, and these endeavors provide big help to the cause.

Information about the show can be found at the Bagus87 website, live tickets can be purchased at the BungaBunga store. Information about streaming has not been confirmed yet, but it will be through the event’s Twitter account. The Remember Hana NPO can receive separate donations on its own website. Furthermore, Kyoko runs an international merch store on Pro Wrestling Tees.
