El Lindaman Retains G-REX Title Against T-Hawk At GLEAT 5th Anniversary Inaugural Event

On July 1st, GLEAT held its GLEAT 5th Anniversary Inaugural Event Sonic Wrestling In Ariake with an eight bout event at Tokyo SGC Hall Ariake.

The main event was a G-REX Championship match as the current titleholder El Lindaman faced the challenge of T-Hawk. T-Hawk earned a shot at GLEAT’s top title when he won the GLEAT G-Class 2026 tournament on June 4th.

Lindaman was making the fifth defense of this second reign as the G-REX Champion. He won the title back on Oct. 9th 2025 when he defeated Katsuhiko Nakajima. T-Hawk was looking to regain the G-REX Title he last held in Dec. 2023.

The match lasted just over twenty minutes and was hard fought battle between Lindaman and T-Hawk. Unfortunately for T-Hawk he would not become a two-time champion as he fell via pinfall to Lindaman.

Lindaman had these backstage post-match comments following his successful title defense.

“It’s just the best. Pro wrestling is so much fun. T-Hawk is the best, for sure. The GLEAT ring is the best. During the opening entrance ceremony, Soma said something like, ‘The crowd’s response is the answer.’ But more than that, I really felt this incredible, warm energy.

In other action, Kaito Kiyomiya, Atsushi Kotoge, Mohammed Yone & Hajime Ohara defeated Hayato Tamura, Takehiro Yamamura, Junjie & Ryuichi Kawakami in GLEAT vs. Pro Wrestling NOAH eight man tag team bout.

Kaito Ishida & KAZMA SAKAMOTO defeated Brass Knuckles JUN & Rock Iwasaki to retain the G-INFINITY Titles.

Takanori Ito held on to his LIDET UWF World Title as he got past the challenge of Daisuke Sekimoto.

• G-REX Title: El Lindaman (c) defeated T-Hawk (20:01) by pinfall (5th defense).
