On June 26th, pro-wrestling suffered a great loss as former All Japan Pro-Wrestling & TNA Wrestling superstar Joe Doering passed away after a long battle with brain cancer.
AJPW announced today that they will have a memorial ceremony for Joe Doering who had a storied twelve year career with the promotion. The memorial ceremony is set to take place on July 19th at the Summer Action Series 2026 event inside the famed Korakuen Hall.
A memorial service and floral tribute will be set up at the event to celebrate the life of Joe Doering.
Doering debuted for AJPW in June 2007 and was a mainstay for the promotion through 2019. Doering is a former two time AJPW Triple Crown Champion and held the AJPW World Tag Team Championship on four separate occasions while with the promotion.
