Pro Wrestling ZERO1’s Fire Festival 2026 continued on June 21st at the Gifu Juroku Plaza, with ZERO1 World Heavyweight Champion Junya Matsunaga taking on Kuma Arashi on the tournament’s second day.
Block A’s Junya Matsunaga and Kuma Arashi battled in the main event in Gifu, with both wrestlers determined to walk away with points on the board, refusing to leave the event empty handed. After the event, Kuma Arashi took to social media to give props to Matsunaga and also claim that from this point forward he plans to win the rest of his tournament matches and go on to claim the Fire Festival Sword.
From Kuma Arashi:
“The first official match ended in a draw. Junya Matsunaga! I’ve definitely taken note of you. From here on out, we’re going to win every single match and secure our spot in the finals! And I, Kuma Arashi, will be the one to claim the Fire Festival Sword! Don’t take your eyes off Kuma Arashi!!!”
