The freelance sensation KAIRI had a great year in Japan, but everything comes to an end. Her bouts with the likes of Sareee, Unagi Sayaka, Mayu Iwatani and many others are embedded in our soul, but as KAIRI starts her journey to the unknown, she decided to give a farewell speech. The inaugural IWGP Women’s Champion spent nine minutes talking about everything her last match in STARDOM meant, and how she was going to be connected to her fans by the love of pro-wrestling we all share. KAIRI started crying multiple times but she kept her head up and finished the speech.

After nine minutes of emotion, the Pirate Princess didn’t know how to follow her discourse. She said that, while she acted like a bully for other wrestlers at STARDOM, she had weaknesses too, and she had learned from everyone in the roster how to be better. KAIRI’s last match for STARDOM has been booked for October 9th, and she will team up with Mayu Iwatani and Nanae Takahashi to face Hazuki, Koguma and Saya Iida.
