Unagi Sayaka On Her AJPW Match with KAIRI: “It Will Be A Historic Day”

The freelance star Unagi Sayaka will participate for All Japan Pro Wrestling’s September 8th show, and she will team up with KAIRI against Sareee and Saori Anou.

All Japan Pro Wrestling has been betting on Joshi Puroresu these last months as women’s wrestling becomes further integrated into promotions in Japan traditionally reserved for men. Thus far, the results have been fantastic. As AJPW starts to grow further and further, this new rise has been accompanied by a storm of talent.

The tag-team match set for September 8th is not an exception. When Unagi Sayaka left STARDOM many questioned whether or not it was the right move; no one expected her freelancer era to be as explosive as it’s been. Unagi has brought a new definition of what it means to be a freelancer, especially in the Joshi scene. With this match for AJPW, Unagi continues being on a roll.

When we talk about KAIRI, we’re talking about a wrestler which has embraced the tough and rough style of Joshi Puroresu at its best. KAIRI has been a force to be reckoned with, and as her future is unknown, the mystique behind her persona keeps growing. Troubled waters or not, KAIRI is going to do her best against Sareee and Saori Anou.

And of course, nobody can deny Sareee’s stellar year. It’s a new platform she’ll show her Sareee-ISM style alongside Anou, who looks to get her name mentioned in the same breath as KAIRI  and Sareee – two former WWE superstars venturing into AJPW to bring the best the modern freelance scene has to offer.
