With days of speculation following Wednesday’s SNS announcement by AEW General Manager Tony Khan, we finally know that Will Ospreay has signed with the company.
At AEW Full Gear, the Aerial Assassin revealed that he had signed a multi-year contract with AEW, but will finish up his commitments with New Japan Pro-Wrestling before beginning officially with All Elite Wrestling in the springtime, around the time of AEW Revolution. His last scheduled match is currently set to be for Wrestle Kingdom 18 in a triple threat match against former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley and The Rebel David Finlay.

Power Struggle was when Finlay destroyed both of the IWGP UK and US Titles held by Ospreay, much to the dismay of Jushin Liger, meaning that the three will fight for an all new championship at the Tokyo Dome.
The IWGP UK Champion has appeared sporadically for AEW multiple times in the past, including against former IWGP Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho – who he faced at Wembley Stadium at All In back in August, where he was embraced by 81,000+ fans in his home country of England, as well as in a Wrestle Kingdom re-match against Kenny Omega at Forbidden Door 2, winning back the IWGP United States title from The Best Bout Machine.
