Starlight Kid Vows To Destroy the History of the White Belt

Starlight Kid wants to make history as Wonder of Stardom champion – by erasing the thirteen year lineage of the title.

By: James Carlin

With Supreme Fight 2023 coming up on February 4th, Starlight Kid has spoken about challenging Saori Anou for the Wonder of Stardom championship. The show will mark Starlight Kid’s fourth time challenging for the White Belt, having been unsuccessful against Giulia and Tam Nakano in 2021 and Saya Kamitani in 2023.

She talked about her disgust at Anou, an outsider, winning the championship and says that she’ll bring the title back to STARDOM. However, she didn’t stop there: The Sky Tiger continued by saying that if she wins the belt, she wants to erase the history of the White Belt and Saori Anou’s reign along with it, destroying the title for good.

Tokyo Sports mentions David Finlay’s destruction of the IWGP United States and IWGP United Kingdom titles that made way for the IWGP Global Heavyweight title that Finlay now holds, after becoming inaugural champion by defeating Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay in the Tokyo Dome earlier this month.

Could the same fate happen to the Wonder of Stardom championship to make way for a new title, or will the “Absolute Indomitable Girlfriend” spoil Starlight Kid’s hopes and dreams of casting darkness over the light?
