Sareee States She Wants To Protect Japanese Women’s Wrestling As War Of Words With Saya Kamitani Continues

By: Lewis Carlan

The social media war of words between Sareee and World of STARDOM Champion Saya Kamitani continued as both lashed out at each other once again.

It all began when Sareee had stated that “STARDOM is overwhelmingly lacking in the fundamental essence of women’s wrestling – the fight”. Kamitani took exception to this and responded which ignited the verbal battle on X between the two superstars.

Sareee called what Kamitani does in the ring a “farce” which Kamitani obviously could not let go without responding.

From Sareee:

“Maybe it’s about not doing the kind of farce you do! I’m begging you, champion. That’s exactly why I need to fight Saya Kamitani. Don’t you dare look down on women’s wrestling.”

Saya Kamitani’s response:

“Ooh, triggered. What exactly do you mean by ‘farce’? If it looks like Saya-sama is the one looking down on women’s wrestling, maybe your muscle-for-brains is working a little too hard, no? Don’t go shoving your definition of a fight onto me.”

It took a few hours but Sareee did post a reply aimed at Kamitani. Sareee indicated she is looking to inherit and protect the history of Japanese women’s wrestling. She also challenged Kamitani to force her own definition of fighting on her.

From Sareee:

“I want to inherit and protect the history of Japanese women’s pro wrestling that our seniors fought so desperately to build. If Saya Kamitani has her own definition of fighting, then force it on me! Not like you even have one, though. And by ‘farce,’ I was talking about your antics outside the ring!”

Kamitani and Sareee will have a chance to settle their differences on July 14th at the next Sareee-ISM event. They will be involved in a tag team bout that will see Sareee & Takumi Iroha taking on Saya Kamitani & Natsuko Tora.

One could only feel that this tag team match will not settle anything and a singles match between the two will have to happen.

Hopefully a singles bout between Sareee vs. Saya Kamitani happens much sooner than later. It could be an absolute classic.
