Sareee Sets Goal With Takumi Iroha Of Being First Women To Win The Tokyo Sports Tag Team Of The Year Award

By: Lewis Carlan

Back at the end of 2025, Saya Kamitani and Sareee made history by becoming the first women to ever win prestigious Tokyo Sports year end awards. Kamitani was named the MVP of the Year while Sareee won the Fighting Spirit Award.

Now, Sareee will be attempting to make more history for herself. Sareee has set a goal for her and her Spark Rush tag team partner Takumi Iroha to become the first female team to win the coveted Tokyo Sports Tag Team of the Year Award.

In a new report from Tokyo Sports, Sareee discussed her desire to win the Tag Team Award with Iroha and explained what they need to do to accomplish that goal.

From Sareee:

“Of course, we’d love to be the first women’s tag team to win the Grand Prize. To win, we have to put on memorable matches. I think it’s also important to compete in large venues to draw attention, so I want to step into the ring with various promotions and find opponents. Right now, we don’t have any opponents. I hope more rivals will emerge.”

Sareee and Takumi Aroha are former AAAW Tag Team Champions in Marvelous and are a very formidable tag team. But as Sareee stated, they will need to compete in more memorable matches and find more rival tag teams if they wish to be considered for the Tokyo Sports 2026 Pro-Wrestling Tag Team of the Year.
