Former two time All Japan Pro-Wrestling Triple Crown Champion Joe Doering passed away today after a long battle with brain cancer. He was only 44 years old.
It was back in 2016 when Doering was first diagnosed with a brain tumor. He underwent surgery to have the tumour removed and resumed his pro-wrestling career.
In 2022, the cancer returned which prompted Doering to have a second procedure to remove it.
A third brain tumour developed in late 2025 which led to Doering to enter into a hospice for care last week. He passed away peacefully with his family surrounding him earlier today.
Doering debuted for AJPW in June 2007 and was a mainstay for the promotion through 2019.
