OZAWA Wins Pro Wrestling NOAH N-1 VICTORY 2026, Spoils Kaito Kiyomiya’s Shot at Redemption

By: Ian McCord

The conclusion to Pro Wrestling NOAH’s N-1 VICTORY 2026 took place at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium 2nd Gymnasium on October 4th, with 2,077 fans in attendance for the tournament final between Kaito Kiyomiya and OZAWA.

After accumulating the most points out of anyone in the tournament, Kiyomiya came into the finals with redemption on his mind. Having been unable to defeat OZAWA since the beginning of 2025, Kiyomiya was very vocal on the road to the finals about how important it was for him to beat OZAWA here in Yoyogi. Redemption was also on the mind of OZAWA, having had his N-1 cut short last year after getting injured on the opening night against Naomichi Marufuji.

The highly anticipated battle between Kiyomiya and OZAWA took place in the main event and went on for over twenty minutes. Neither man looked to budge as they both looked to position themselves to reclaim the top spot aboard the Ark. As expected, TEAM 2000X would get involved; however, Kiyomiya would be able to fight them off, before a small distraction from YOSHITATSU led to the downfall of the Mad Prince.

The distraction helped OZAWA hit a huge Spanish Fly off the top rope onto Kiyomiya for a two-count, followed by a Blue Thunder for yet another two. OZAWA then finished things by executing his Real Rebel finisher off the top rope to secure the pinfall victory.

After the match, OZAWA invited the GHC Heavyweight Champion Tetsuya Naito, who was on commentary for the match, to come into the ring, where the two had their first of what will probably be many verbal exchanges ahead of their championship match at the end of the month.

During his post-match comments, OZAWA ran down Kiyomiya, claiming that the match was too easy and that Kiyomiya is a nobody before switching his focus to Tetsuya Naito. The Real Rebel wrapped things up by declaring that once he wins the title from Naito he plans to defend it against Kouga, who he still refers to as OWADASAN.

From OZAWA:

“That was easy, hey! I bet it was over in under five minutes, hey! Kaito Kiyomiya, way too easy, hey! That makes it three wins in three singles matches! What is this ‘Big Three of NOAH’? He is not someone who deserves to stand next to me! Someone who has lost all three singles matches should not put his name alongside the Big Three of NOAH, you nobody. Next! Tetsuya Naito! What ‘resolve’? Come on! He thinks everything moves forward as long as he says ‘Tranquilo~’! I have not given a single thought to any resolve on my end! Do not throw weird setups at me! But against Naito as well, I won last time with my lightning-fast reverse roll-up, the one that pins at 107,000 km/h, so next time as well, I think I will simply roll him up and win. And! After I beat Tetsuya Naito and take the GHC Heavyweight Championship, OWADASAN! I believe I can show the de facto pinnacle of NOAH, a match against OWADASAN, so everyone, please look forward to it!”

Before OZAWA can think about defending the GHC Heavyweight Championship, he must first win it from Tetsuya Naito. OZAWA vs. Naito for NOAH’s top prize is set for WRESTLE ODYSSEY II on October 25th in Ryogoku.
