Former WWE star Oddyssey has won his first AJPW singles championship as he defeated the dangerous Dragongate star Masaaki Mochizuki for the title.

The major win for Oddyssey occurred on Nov. 3rd at the final event of the AJPW “HOKKAIDO DYNAMITE SERIES 2026” tour. The title bout took place at the APA Hotel & Resort Sapporo with an announced crowd of 707 fans on hand to witness the match.

Despite going into the bout with a considerable size and strength advantage, it wasn’t easy for Oddyssey. While Oddyssey controlled much of the early going, Mochizuki attempted to turn things into his favor by utilizing his devastating kicks.

Mochizuki chopped Oddyssey down to size with continuous kicks and scored a near fall after one vicious kick to the head. Oddyssey, who normally seems to be enjoying himself in the ring, showed all in attendance his mean streak as the kicks seemingly woke up the monster inside him.

After a hard slam, Oddyssey hit a second rope splash on Mochizuki and three seconds later the Dragongate star became a former champion with the AJPW GAORA TV Title now in possession of HAVOC’s Oddyssey.

Oddyssey was joined by his HAVOC tag team partner Xyon as they both celebrated the championship victory.

Mochizuki took to X to congratulate Oddyssey on his well earned victory which received a response from the new champion.

It will be interesting to see who will step up and be the first to challenge Oddyssey for the GAORA TV Title. Whoever it may be, they can be assured that Oddyssey will ready.
