Kenoh Says Watching Tetsuya Naito vs. Killer Kross at World Series Wrestling Left Him Unhappy

By: Ian McCord

Over this past weekend, the current GHC Heavyweight Champion Tetsuya Naito ventured to Australia to compete at World Series Wrestling’s MegaMania Adelaide. At the event, Naito suffered a loss to the promotion’s Heavyweight Champion, Killer Kross, in an anything goes match for the WSW World Heavyweight Championship.

Someone who was paying close attention to Naito’s trip Down Under was none other than his next opponent for the GHC Heavyweight Championship, Kenoh.

On November 3rd, Kenoh suffered a loss of his own, teaming alongside Black Mensore against Naomichi Marufuji and Kazuyuki Fujita at NOAH’s LEGACY RISE 2026 event at the Katsuki Fureai Cube Matsunaga Multipurpose Hall. After Fujita ended things with a Beast Bomb to Mensore, Kenoh went backstage and shared his thoughts on Naito’s match with Kross during his post-match comments.

Kenoh claimed the match left him with quite a look on his face and feeling unhappy after watching it for free on YouTube. He questioned if Naito is feeling some type of way after the criticism he received following the OZAWA match, and states that he wants the old Naito next week when they meet in Korakuen Hall.

“Next up is finally the GHC Heavyweight Championship match on November 9 at Korakuen Hall. Hey, Tetsuya Naito! Are you really okay? It seems like you’re on a tour in Australia or something—WSW. You lost that singles match, didn’t you? I saw it! You can watch it on YouTube, right? I watched it. It’s not just that the GHC Heavyweight Champion lost a singles match—let’s just say that part’s still okay. But what was up with that match? While I was watching, my eyes… I was staring at it with a face like this the whole time. It made me sad. Honestly, isn’t that whole Ryogoku incident still getting to you a little? Enough already. Just come at me as Tetsuya Naito at full strength. If you don’t come at me with everything you’ve got right now, it won’t be worth my while to take you down. Naito, take another look at how you fight. Come to the next Korakuen Hall match as the Tetsuya Naito I wanted to take down back then. I’ll be waiting for you with anticipation.”

The anticipation will come to an end in less than one week’s time when Naito defends Pro Wrestling NOAH’s top prize against Kenoh at the opening night of the NOAH Jr. GRAND PRIX 2 at Korakuen Hall on November 9th.
