New Twinstar Tag Team Champions Crowned At MARIGOLD RISING SPIRIT 2025

The Marigold vs, Marvelous rivalry intensified on May 10th with the Marigold Twinstar Tag Team Titles now at the forefront of the war between the two promotions.

On May 10th at MARIGOLD RISING SPIRIT 2025, Maria & Riko Kawahata aka Magenta came to the event representing Marvelous and faced the Twinstar Tag team Champions Nanae Takahashi & Seri Yamaoka. In a match that lasted nearly 20 minutes, Kawahata was able to put Yamaoka away after landing a Moonsault Press thus securing the belts for the Marvelous team.

This was the 3rd defense for Takahashi & Yamaoka as their reign as Twinstar Tag Team Champions came to an end at 111 days. As her final match is May 24th, Takahashi was hoping to retire as the Twinstar Champion but unfortunately that will not be the case.

The Marigold vs Marvelous feud had featured a number of inter-promotional matches over the past month. Now Marvelous has gained the advantage in the war as they now possess a major Marigold championship within its ranks.

• Nagisa Nozaki, CHIAKI & Gigaton defeat Natsumi Showzuki, Chika Goto & Hummingbird (10:00) after an Argentine Buster by CHIAKI against Hummingbird.
• Miku Aono defeats Misa Matsui (8:30) with a Styles Clash.
• MIRAI, Mai Sakurai & Rea Seto defeat Utami Hayashishita, Victoria Yuzuki & Kizuna Tanaka (12:36) after MIRAI’s Miramare Shock against Tanaka.
• Marigold Twin Star Title: Riko Kawahata & Maria (c) defeat Nanae Takahashi & Seri Yamaoka (c) (19:12) after a Moonsault Press by Kawahata vs. Yamaoka – Title Change (Failed 3rd defense -> 5th Champions).
