Full Results for NJPW Best of Super Jr 32 Opening Night

The New Japan Pro-Wrestling 32nd annual Best of Super Jr tournament kicked off on May 10th at the Chiba Park General Gymnasium. The event featured Block A and Block B matches as the competition to see who will earn the right to raise the BOSJ winners trophy got underway.

The featured match for the event saw the current IWGP Jr Heavyweight Champion El Desperado face CMLL star Titan. Desperado emerged victorious over Titan to earn his first 2 points of the tournament.

In the co-feature, Hiromu Takahashi squared off against KUSHIDA in a high profile match-up. Takahashi won by submission over his rival and added the first 2 points to his tournament total.

• Toru Yano & YOH defeat Robbie Eagles & Hartley Jackson (8:20) after a horizontal cradle by Yano against Jackson.

• Best of the Super Jr. – Block A: Dragon Dia [2] defeats Yoshinobu Kanemaru [0] (10:51) with a Reptilian Rana.
• Best of the Super Jr. – Block A: Kosei Fujita [2] defeats Francesco Akira [0] (12:03) with the Thrill Ride.
• Best of the Super Jr. – Block A: Hiromu Takahashi [2] defeats KUSHIDA [0] (13:03) with a maximum the Holding Second Form
