Pro Wrestling NOAH’s NEO GLOBAL TAG LEAGUE returned on May 30th at Korakuen Hall with 1,296 fans in attendance for the fourth event of the tournament.
The semi-main event saw a much anticipated A Block battle between Los Tranquilos de Japon’s Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI taking on All Rebellion’s Kaito Kiyomiya and Harutoki in a first-time match up.
Kiyomiya and Harutoki came into the match with zero points and were looking to keep their tag league hopes alive by defeating the current GHC Tag Team Champions.
The two teams brought the action all throughout Korakuen Hall, with LTJ hoping their experience was enough to walk away with another tournament win. However it would be the leader of the new generation, Kaito Kiyomiya, picking up the win for his team after hitting his signature Skywalk Elbow onto BUSHI for the win in (15:24).
Even with the loss, LTJ is still tied with the Good Brothers for first place with each team currently having four points.
After the match, Naito challenged Kiyomiya to a singles match for some point in the future, with Kiyomiya accepting, ending their exchange with Naito’s signature Tranquilo catchphrase.
Tetsuya Naito:
“Today’s match was a ton of fun. If it’s this much fun, I’d love to take my time with the match. How about our first singles match—between me and Kiyomiya—for the next big event? Are you up for it?”
Kaito Kiyomiya:
“I guess even you’re starting to get a little anxious, Naito-san? But I’m anxious too. So, I’m absolutely thrilled that you called me out!”
Tetsuya Naito:
“So, Kiyomiya’s answer is obviously…?”
Kaito Kiyomiya:
“Tranquilo, don’t get ahead of yourself!”

During his post-match interview, Naito states that it hurts losing in the tag league but claims he found something after his first match with Kiyomiya and is very impressed by the former GHC Heavyweight Champion.
From Tetsuya Naito:
“Losing in the NEO GLOBAL TAG LEAGUE hurts. As GHC Tag Team Champions, BUSHI and I should be winning. But during the match, I found something. Harutoki was impressive, but Kaito Kiyomiya shined even brighter. The tag league is important, but after it’s over, let’s have that singles match. Kiyomiya and Naito. It’s happening. Tranquilo… あっせんなよ.”
Kiyomiya, who ripped his pants during the main event, also complimented Naito during his post-match interview and even said that he was incredibly happy about being challenged to a singles match by Naito.
From Kaito Kiyomiya:
“Naito was every bit the top wrestler in Japan tonight. For him to call me out for a singles match makes me incredibly happy. But I still think he’s holding something back. I’m going to bring out the real Tetsuya Naito.”
In the main event, Naomichi Marufuji and KENOH’s hopes to go undefeated in the tag league were also squashed when they were defeated by Manabu Soya and Yuki Iino after Soya’s Passion IS on KENOH for the win in (20:28). With the win, Soya and Iino are now tied for first place in B Block with Yoshiki Inamura and Stallion Rogers, who picked up a win over OZAWA and Tadasuke earlier in the night.
NEO GLOBAL TAG LEAGUE action returns on May 31st at Aore Nagaoka in Niigata and will be streaming live on Wrestle UNIVERSE streaming service.
