The All Japan Pro-Wrestling “SUMMER ACTION SERIES 2026” tour hit Korakuen Hall on July 19th with another sold out crowd on hand for the event. The words “sold out crowd” has been synonymous with AJPW lately as the promotion has been enjoying a rise in attendance lately.
The event began with an in-ring tribute to Joe Doering who passed away on June 26th at the age of 44 after a long battle with cancer. Doering was a former two time All Japan Pro-Wrestling Triple Crown Champion and had a very successful 12 year run with the promotion from 2007-2019.

The main event featured the AJPW World Tag Team Champions Jun & Rei Saito making the first defense of their third reign against the tough team of Kengo Mashimo & Daisuke Sekimoto. The two powerhouse teams engaged in a hard fought battle that included impressive feats of strength.
The back and forth encounter ended at the 19:00 mark after Jun & Rei hit a chokeslam/powerbomb combo on Mashimo for the victory to retain their AJPW World Tag Team Titles. The two teams, in a show a respect, enjoyed an ice cream toast after the bout.
In the co-featured match, Atsuki Aoyagi & Rising HAYATO made their first defense of their All Asia Tag Team Titles as they faced the tandem of Yuma Anzai & Shota Kofuji. Aoyagi & HAYATO retained their belts in a thriller against Anzai & Kofuji.
In other action, Ren Ayabe made a massive statement by pinning AJPW Triple Crown Champion Kento Miyahara in a tag team bout. Ayabe is set to challenge Miyahara for the Triple Crown on July 25th at Kobe Sambo Hall.
