In today’s All Japan Pro Wrestling show, the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi wrestled known All Japan Junior wrestler Rising HAYATO. Such an exciting bout was something expected from both wrestlers, but what came after was really surprising. We have seen Takahashi travelling around the world this year, and it’s not a surprise he asked HAYATO to come to wrestle for New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Ever since winning his IWGP Junior Championship at Wrestle Kingdom from Taiji Ishimori, Takahashi has been an advocate for the union of the Junior Heavyweight rosters around the world. He has managed the All Star Junior Festival alongside Rocky Romero, and both are looking to unite the wrestling world in an attempt to showcase the best Juniors the world has to offer.

HAYATO has made an impact in the Junior division for All Japan, but Takahashi wants him in a bigger stage, and what’s bigger than the number one promotion for Japanese wrestling today? HAYATO and Takahashi gave a great and competitive bout, but it seems that the IWGP Junior Champion does not want their dynamic to be done as just an interpromotional dream match. What happens now depends on whatever HAYATO wants to do. Will he conquer All Japan as Atsuki Aoyagi or will he prove his worth in a bigger stage as former All Japan wrestler Jake Lee? Only the ticking time bomb will tell.
