Psycho Clown Arrives in NOAH and Stakes Claim to National Championship

AAA’s Psycho Clown has invaded Pro-Wrestling NOAH, and looks to be aiming for the National Championship

Today’s N-1 Victory Final show in Osaka was an eventful one for Pro-Wrestling NOAH, as the winner of the round robin tournament was decided, but there was another huge talking point of the show too.

For the last few weeks, an unnamed individual has been sending letters towards NOAH that stated that his attention had been caught from overseas.

“Dear Sir,
Your success has reached even me in a foreign country.
I would be happy if I could meet you in Osaka.

The author of these letters was finally uncovered when Psycho Clown, a former two-time AAA Mega Champion, attacked GHC National Champion El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. after his scheduled tag team match and held up the red National Championship, seemingly confirming his ambitions to challenge for the belt.

Wagner Jr.’s history with Psycho Clown goes back to 2017, when Psycho Clown defeated Wagner Jr’s father at TripleMania XXV and took his mask.

Psycho Clown is set to challenge for the National Championship on September 24th in Nagoya at Grand Ship 2023, marking Wagner Jr’s sixth defence of the belt if he can successfully fend off against the AAA star.
