Giulia Reveals All About Beef with Maya Yukihi

During a series of interviews with Tokyo Sports, World of Stardom Championship #1 contender Giulia opened up about her history with former Ice Ribbon rival, Maya Yukihi, who surprised the wrestling community by arriving in STARDOM to participate in the Triangle Derby tournament alongside her Rebel x Enemy stablemates. Giulia and Yukihi have previously fought in Ice Ribbon for a total of three times, with Giulia always on the losing end.

Despite Yukihi being a senior to Giulia, she explicitly stated she has no respect towards the former ICExInfinity Champion, let alone looking up to her. “The new Dangerous Queen” alleges that Yukihi constantly talked about her behind her back, adding that she spent her entire time in Ice Ribbon knowing about it and resenting her for it.

Giulia also pointed out the incongruence of Yukihi coming to STARDOM after claiming she wanted to prove that “You don’t need to go to STARDOM to become famous”. This led to Giulia immediately calling her enemy out during the Triangle Derby press conference and telling her she did not belong in the World’s Ring of Wonder.

Giulia and Maya Yukihi are set to face each other on the first show of the Triangle Derby, taking place on January 3rd, 2023. The “stealth viper” challenged Yukihi to get in the best shape possible and earn her respect. The possibility for a singles match between these bitter adversaries has had fans buzzing in the last couple of days, as 2023 is expected to be Giulia’s true legacy-defining year.
