AZM Challenges Giulia for the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship

AZM has announced that she wants the STRONG Women’s Championship

Today at Gold Rush on November 18th the High-Speed Bomb Girl announced, after defeating Suzu Suzuki and Starlight Kid in a triple-threat match, that she wants to face Giulia for the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship.

Giulia last defended her championship in Las Vegas at Fighting Spirit Evolved. This will mark the champion’s sixth defence of the title after defending against Yuu, then against Deonnza Purrazzo, Gisele Shaw and Momo Kohgo in IMPACT Wrestling, then Risa Sera, Ami Sohrei, and HYAN.

AZM and Giulia have only ever faced once in singles matches, with the two encountering each other in this year’s 5STAR GP, where AZM quickly defeated the champion in less than a minute to go up to eight points in the tournament.
