Utami Hayashishita and Saya Kamitani returned to the ring at yesterday’s STARDOM show from Korakuen Hall. Both AphroditE tag team members have been out of action due to injury. The two teamed with their Queen’s Quest stablemate AZM in their return match, facing off against Suzu Suzuki, Megan Bayne and High-Speed champion Mei Seira.
The two teams went to a fifteen minute draw, after which AphroditE staked their claim for the vacant Goddess of Stardom championships. The physical titles are currently in possession of Maika and Megan Bayne, who believe that they should be the rightful champions for winning this year’s Tag League after Natsupoi and Saori Anou had to relinquish them due to Natsupoi’s injury.
Saya Kamitani had previously spoken in her return appearance at the November 20th press conference about wanting to challenge for the Goddess of Stardom titles with Hayashishita.

While Maika was not in this match, she was on the show taking part in the one-day tournament to decide who will challenge for the World of Stardom championship at Dream Queendom at the end of December – she won the tournament and could very well end up being a double champion after STARDOM’s final show of the year if she and Megan Bayne can win the Goddess of Stardom championships from Utami Hayashishita and Saya Kamitani.
Divine Kingdom and AphroditE will face-off for the vacant Goddess of Stardom Tag Team championships in three days time at Nagoya Big Winter on December 2nd,
