With Tam Nakano vacating the World of Stardom championship, a one-night four-woman tournament on November 28th at Korakuen Hall was put into place to decide who will challenge Suzu Suzuki at Dream Queendom. Suzu Suzuki is set to defend her contract from winning the 5★STAR GP against Hazuki on December 2nd, but the tournament entrants have been exchanging harsh words as of late.
Following the main event match in Nagoya which saw Maika, Mai Sakurai and Giulia of Donna del Mondo take on Syuri, MIRAI and Ami Sohrei, God’s Chosen Big Girl had some words for the Crimson Princess, who she’ll be meeting at Korakuen Hall in an attempt to advance to the semi-finals of the Right to Challenge tournament.
“How many years have you been saying that you’ll get the Red Belt? If you continue saying you’ll win the Red Belt when you can never win those title matches, then there’s no chance you’ll win the title even if you win the tournament. It’s not your destiny to win the World of Stardom championship.”
Maika responded to Sohrei, saying: “The Red Belt? It’s not an easy championship to win. Don’t underestimate me. Don’t underestimate the Red Belt.” h/t Tokyo Sports
Sohrei has stated previously to Monthly Puroresu her ambitions of becoming a double champion once more, this time whilst holding the World of Stardom championship – but to get to that point, she must first defeat Maika to advance to the semi-finals, then defeat either Mina Shirakawa or Momo Watanabe to get to Dream Queendom at Ryogoku Sumo Hall.
