Alejandro Replaces Harutoki in NOAH NEO GLOBAL TAG LEAGUE

By: Ian McCord

On June 3rd, during Day 7 of Pro Wrestling NOAH’s NEO GLOBAL TAG LEAGUE, it was announced that Harutoki will miss the remainder of the tournament due to a cervical spinal cord injury, and will be replaced by fellow ALL REBELLION stablemate Alejandro.

Harutoki had been competing in the A Block with partner Kaito Kiyomiya, with the team holding 2 points after defeating the current GHC Tag Team Champions Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI. The group’s next tournament match is set for June 5th at the Iwate Prefectural Gymnasium against TEAM 2000X’s Masa Kitamiya and Takashi Sugiura, and will be Alejandro’s debut into the tag league.

Masa Kitamiya had a lot to say following an impromptu 12-man tag that featured members of Team NOAH, ALL REBELLION and Daiki Odashima taking on TEAM 2000X. The Chairman of TEAM 2000X, Kitamiya, who has been hoping for the end of ALL REBELLION for some time now, questioned the strength of the stable’s bond and told Alejandro that if he hopes to join the tag league he must first wrestle the in the 8-man tag team match that he’s already scheduled to be in.

From Masa Kitamiya:

“So Alejandro’s entering the league as Harutoki’s replacement? Normally, once you’re out, you’re out. But let’s see if ALL REBELLION’s bond is really as strong as they claim. Alejandro, you’ve already got a scheduled match. Fight that first—then enter the league. That’s an order from the Chairman. I’m the Chairman.”

After the event in Hodogaya, Alejandro took to social media to share his excitement about stepping in for Harutoki and how he’s not afraid to wrestle multiple matches to show off the strength of ALL REBELLION.

From Alejandro via X:

“I’ll carry Harutoki’s spirit with me and fight on. I’m ready to wrestle one match, two matches, even three matches in a single day if that’s what it takes. To everyone supporting us—and to Harutoki—watch closely. We’ll show you the strength of ALL REBELLION, a team that has overcome every obstacle in its path.”

Kaito Kiyomiya also took to X to share how much it means to him that Alejandro is stepping up to help his ALL REBELLION partner, knowing that Alejandro is set to defend his GHC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championships on June 16th at the NEO TAG LEAGUE finals at Korakuen Hall.

From Kaito Kiyomiya via X:

“I’m disappointed that Harutoki and I won’t be able to continue competing in the tournament together. With Alejandro having his own title match coming up, his willingness to step up means a lot to me. Now it’s up to Alejandro and me to fight on—and win this tournament for Harutoki too.”
