Back on Sept. 2nd, New Japan Pro-Wrestling superstar Yuya Uemura posted on X that he had trained at the Sendai Girls Pro-Wrestling dojo in a session that included YUNA and Reina Takano.
In a recent interview with Monthly Puroresu, Yuya Uemura was asked why he decided to train at the Sendai Girls dojo. Uemura had nothing but praise for Sendai Girls and mentioned that he really got into Reina Takano’s debut match.
From Yuya Uemura:
“I really love the passion and the dedication the girls there have both for their own wrestling and to develop the promotion. I don’t watch much Joshi wrestling, but I’ve been checking them out, and got really into Reina Takano’s debut on YouTube.”
Sendai Girls Pro-Wrestling keeps growing and pulling in larger and larger crowds to it’s events. While the roster is small, it is filled with competitors that are very passionate about pro-wrestling which has been integral to their recent success. They are led by Chihiro Hashimoto and Mika Iwata who are two of the very best in Joshi Puroresu.
And now they have they seal of approval from one of the very best in the form of NJPW superstar Yuya Uemura.
