The 13th annual All Japan Pro-Wrestling Oudou Tournament is set to kick off on Sept. 9th at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel Stella Ball. The tournament will be contested under round robin elimination rules and will run through Sept. 22nd where the semi-finals and finals are scheduled to take place at Korakuen Hall.
There are 16 participants in the AJPW 13th Oudou Tournament and they are as follows:
The winner of the tournament will earn the right to challenge for the AJPW Triple Crown Championship. The current champion is Kento Miyahara but he is set to defend the title against Yuma Anzai on Aug. 29th. Either Miyahara or Anzai will go into the tournament as the Triple Crown Titleholder. If the Triple Crown Champion wins the tournament, they will have the right to nominate their challenger.
AJPW revealed all the tournament match-ups for the 13th Oudou Tournament as well as all the venues where the elimination bouts will take place.

The AJPW Oudou Tournament began in 2013 and the inaugural tournament was won by Akebono who defeated Go Shiozaki in the finals. Kento Miyahara won last years tournament which gives him three career wins. If Miyahara wins this year, he will become the first wrestler to win the Oudou Tournament four times.
