All Japan Pro-Wrestling star Rising HAYATO received bad news today concerning the Zennichi Jr. Festival 2026 tournament which he was competing in.
It was announced today that HAYATO suffered a concussion during his Aug. 21 Block A bout with Seigo Tachibana. As a result he will be forced to miss the remainder of the Zennichi Jr. Festival 2026 tournament.
HAYATO took to X after the announcement and called being pulled from the tournament frustrating and apologized to the fans.
From Rising HAYATO:
“Sorry to everyone who was looking forward to the game. It’s so frustrating.” (English translation via Deepl.com)
The remainder of his scheduled tournament bouts will be forfeited. Rising HAYATO finishes with four points and had a good chance of winning the A Block prior to suffering a concussion.
HAYATO is the co-holder of the All Asia Tag Team Championship with Atsuki Aoyagi.
Everyone at Monthly Puroresu wishes a speedy recovery for Rising HAYATO.
