Seigo Tachibana Catapults to the Top of Block A as the AJPW Zennichi Jr. Festival Tournament Continues

The All Japan Pro-Wrestling Zennichi Jr. Festival 2026 tournament is in full swing. It’s latest stop was at the Dejima Nagasaki Fair as part of the AJPW SUMMER ACTION WARS 2026 series of events.

The featured bout was a Block A showdown between Seigo Tachibana and Rising HAYATO with the winner guaranteed to take sole possession of first place.

In a match that lasted over twenty-one minutes and was evenly fought between the two competitors, it was Tachibana emerging victorious after hitting a Yankee Hammer on HAYATO. With the win, Tachibana earned his fifth point and took over first place in Block A.

Tachibana celebrated his huge victory after the bout by enthusiastically addressing the fans in attendance.

In other tournament action, Dragongate star Masaaki Mochizuki defeated Shota Kofuji to earn his fifth point and pull with in one point of the B Block leading Yuya Aoki.

In a Triple Crown Championship preliminary bout, Yuma Anzai, Jun Saito & Rei Saito defeated Kento Miyahara, Ryuki Honda & Kuma Arashi. Miyahara is set to defend his AJPW Triple Crown Title against Yuma Anzai on Aug. 29.

• Go Shiozaki, Yuma Aoyagi, Ren Ayabe & Hokuto Omori defeat Hideki Suzuki, Shotaro Ashino, Aizawa No.1 & Carbell Ito (10:11) after a Strong Arm Lariat from Shiozaki against Aizawa.
• Zennichi Jr. Festival – Block A: Leon de Oro [2] defeated Seiki Yoshioka [2] (6:16) with a Huracanrana.
• Zennichi Jr. Festival – Block B: Masaaki Mochizuki [5] defeated Shota Kofuji [0] (9:34) with the twister.
• Triple Crown Skirmish: Yuma Anzai, Jun Saito & Rei Saito defeated Kento Miyahara, Ryuki Honda & Kuma Arashi (13:54) after the Dying Light of Jun against Honda.
• Zennichi Jr. Festival – Block B: Dan Tamura [3] defeated “Mr. Saito” Naruki Doi [2](13:48) with a power bomb.
• Main Event Zennichi Jr. Festival – Block A: Seigo Tachibana [5] defeated Rising HAYATO [4] (21:08) with the Yankee Hammer.
