KENOH & Naomichi Marufuji Vow to Go Undefeated in NOAH NEO GLOBAL TAG LEAGUE

The second day of Pro Wrestling NOAH’s NEO GLOBAL TAG LEAGUE took place on May 24th at Umeda Sky Building Stella Hall, with 472 fans in attendance to see the first night of B Block action.

One of the featured matches, Naomichi Marufuji and KENOH vs. OZAWA and Tadasuke, took place in the main event with “MaruKEN” getting the win over the TEAM 2000X duo in just over fourteen minutes, starting the tournament off with an important win.

During their post-match interview, KENOH and Marufuji commented on the dangers of OZAWA’s face-lick and declared their intentions to go undefeated in the tournament and ultimately regaining the GHC Tag Titles that they lost to Los Tranquilos de Japon back on New Year’s Day.

LTJ’s Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI, who are competing in A Block, made a similar claim before the start of the tournament. If both teams can make good on their intentions, we could have two undefeated teams facing off in the finals of the tournament on June 16th at Korakuen Hall.

Elsewhere on the card, Yoshiki Inamura and Stallion Rogers defeated KENTA and Katsumi Inahata, and Manabu Soya and Yuki Iino defeated Kazuyuki Fujita and Mohammed Yone, with both B Block teams earning 2 points for their victories.

NOAH’s NEO GLOBAL TAG LEAGUE continues on May 26th at the Light Cube Utsunomiya in Tochigi, airing live on Wrestle Universe streaming service.
