Pro Wrestling NOAH hosted a 10 year anniversary show for Kaito Kiyomiya, but the celebrations were cut short. The Good Brothers, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows, attacked Kiyomiya, with a tag match now announced for Pro Wrestling NOAH The New Year on January 1st.
The event in Korakuen Hall was main evented by Kiyomiya facing KENOH in a one-hour iron man match. KENOH emerged the victor, clinching the match with a 4-3 scoreline. As Kiyomiya was addressing the fans to close the show, two men rushed the ring and attacked him. With Kiyomiya laid out, the assailants revealed themselves to be Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows, the Good Brothers.
In the wake of the attack, Pro Wrestling NOAH have announced a tag team match for the January 1st show in the Nippon Budokan. Kiyomiya will team with Jack Morris to take on the Good Brothers.
Gallows and Anderson’s last involvement in the puroresu scene was appearing at NJPW’s Resurgence event back in May in the US. The New Year will mark both men’s first match back in Pro Wrestling NOAH since 2012. Anderson last appeared teaming with Giant Bernard to face Jun Akiyama and Akitoshi Saito. For Gallows, his last match in Pro Wrestling NOAH saw him teaming with Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish to face Shane Haste, Mikey Nicholls and Zack Sabre Jr.
