Starlight Kid Will Fight for the White Belt at Supreme Fight

The Sky Tiger has earned the right to face Saori Anou for the Wonder of Stardom title

At today’s Korakuen Hall event, Starlight Kid won the New Year Wonder Rumble and outlasting twelve other competitors to gain the opportunity to face the “Absolute Indomitable Girlfriend” Saori Anou for Wonder of Stardom championship at STARDOM’s 13th Anniversary show next month.

It was at Stardom Gate 2024 on January 4th that the Sky Tiger made her intentions to aim for the White Belt clear, wearing a white-colored mask while sitting on the commentary table for the show, with Anou’s attention caught towards her after her match.

The White Belt has only changed hands two times at anniversary shows. Act Yasukawa was the first, by defeating Mayu Iwatani to become the first two-time Wonder of Stardom champion at the 4th Anniversary show, and Tam Nakano was the second, defeating Giulia in a hair vs. hair match at the Nippon Budokan to win the White Belt in the main event of STARDOM’s 10th Anniversary show – the event also saw the in-ring return of first Wonder of Stardom champion Yuzuki Aikawa after eight years.

Starlight Kid has said that her goal this year is to become the Wonder of Stardom champion, and her wish may come true early as she may leave Osaka on February 4th with an upset by defeating the champion on her first defense of the belt.
