Former AEW Women’s World Champion Riho will be making her return to TJPW next year. This will mark her first appearance in the company since Wrestle Princes III in October 2022, where she and Hikari Noa teamed against 121000000 (Maki Itoh & Miyu Yamashita). Her return continues to add another name to the already stacked-up Ittenyon show that will take place on the day of Wrestle Kingdom 18.
Whilst no match has been announced yet for the Small Monster, she has not had a singles match in the company since defeating Shoko Nakajima in 2018, with her latest five matches between 2022 and 2019 all being in tag team action.
Riho will be finishing 2023 with a match against Saraya on AEW Dynamite tomorrow, with the winner going on to face current AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm at World’s End.
