STARDOM has officially announced the return of two of their tournaments today, both of which will take place at the Yokohama Budokan on January 3rd.
Their newest tournament, the Triangle Derby, focused on trios teams that will fight for the opportunity for the Artist of Stardom championships, will return as a one-day tournament in a traditional knockout format instead of as a round robin like its first iteration. Prominence were the winners of the first Triangle Derby, putting their Artist of Stardom titles on the line in the finals against Abarenbo GE.

Utami Hayashishita, Saya Kamitani, AZM vs. Suzu Suzuki, Mei Seira, Megan Bayne
Mayu Iwatani, Hanan, Saya Iida vs. Starlight Kid, Momo Watanabe, Natsuko Tora
Abarenbo God’s Eye (Ami Sohrei, MIRAI, Syuri) vs. Rina, Ruaka, Fukigen Death
The Rookie of Stardom tournament will also be returning next year for the first time since 2019. It is one of STARDOM’s oldest tournaments that first ran in 2011 with former winners being Yoshiko in 2011, Yuhi in 2012, Takumi Iroha in 2013, Reo Hazuki in 2014, Jungle Kyona in 2015, Arisu Nanase in 2016, Shiki Shibusawa in 2017, Utami Hayashishita in 2018 and Saya Kamitani in 2019. The format has changed over the years to be a proper tournament, an elimination match, a triple threat, and just singles matches.
This year the tournament will return to its classic elimination tournament format that was used in 2011, 2012, 2015, 2016 and 2019, with Yuzuki, HANAKO, Rana Yagami and Sayaka Kurara all taking part in the tournament.
