On the last edition of Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Monday Magic, which aired on June 2nd, Kouki Amarei made her second defense of the GHC Women’s Title as she faced Takumi Iroha. Despite a valiant effort, Amarei was defeated and lost the GHC Women’s Championship to Iroha.

At only 22 years old, New Japan Pro-Wrestling star Kosei Fujita is the youngest man to win the Best of the Super Juniors tournament. He accomplished this feat back on June 1st at the 32nd edition of the prestigious competition.

Marvelous superstar Takumi Iroha made history today at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Monday Magic as she became the second GHC Women’s Champion after defeating Kouki Amarei for the title.

Iroha made good on her promise to “definitely” win the GHC Women’s Championship and is now a quadruple champion as she also holds the Marvelous AAAW Championship, the RCW Women’s Championship and is the co-holder of the AAAW Tag Team Championship with Sareee.

Unfortunately for Amarei, her second title defense would be her last as Iroha defeated her and became the new GHC Women’s Champion.

At the May 26th season opening edition of Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Monday Magic, the GHC Women’s Champion Kouki Amarei teamed with Marigold Super Flywieght Champion Mayu Iwatani as they defeated the tandem of Sadie Gibbs & Great Sakuya.

Following the match, Marvelous superstar Takumi Iroha appeared and proceeded to challenge Amarei for her GHC Women’s Championship. Amarei accepted the challenge with the match being made official for the June 2nd edition of NOAH’s Monday Magic.

The Pro Wrestling WAVE “Catch The Wave 2025” tournament kicked off back on May 4th at Korakuen Hall. The tournament will run through July 21st.

Catch the Wave 2025 is the biggest version of the tournament to date with 36 competitors broken down into nine blocks.

Mayu Iwatani has held the Marigold Superfly Championship for only eight days but she is already proving she is going to be a fighting champion. On June 6th, the Marigold BURNING DESIRE 2025 tour rolls into Shinjuku FACE as Iwatani will defend her Superfly Title for the first time against Misa Matsui in the main event of the card.
