All Japan Pro-Wrestling kicked off its 2025 Royal Road Tournament at the famed Korakuen Hall with nearly 1,000 fans in attendance for the event.
There were three tournament matches featured on the opening night of 12th annual AJPW Royal Road 2025
On Aug. 22nd, a crowd of 572 filled the Sunpearl Arakawa Arena to witness block matches for the Marigold DREAM★STAR GP 2025 tournament.
One of the bouts featured young star Victoria Yuzuki facing former GHC Women’s Champion Kouki Amarei in a Dream League Block showdown.
Sendai Girls held an event on Aug. 24th at the Xebio Arena Sendai which was aptly named “The Biggest”. The event proved to be successful as a crowd of 3920 were on hand witness a huge card of Sendai Girls action.
Since Nov. 2024, YUNA has been trying to fulfill her goal of becoming the Sendai Girls World Junior Champion. She has had 4 attempts since Nov. 2024 but has been unsuccessful each time.

Pro Wrestling NOAH star Ulka Sasaki will out of action for at least the next two dates due to the onset of shingles. Sasaki will miss the Aug. 24th event at Tama Mirai Messe in Tokyo and the Aug. 25th event at Korakuen Hall which is the 30th Anniversary of Mohamed Yone’s debut.
The situation in the STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2025 for Momo Watanabe wasn’t looking good. She had lost her last three tournament matches and had been stuck at eights points since Aug 6th. She was able to find her way into the 5★STAR GP 2025 playoff round with a little help from Hina who defeated HANAKO on Aug. 17th, the final night of block action, to enable Watanabe to advance to the next round.
There has never been a competitor in Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling that has won the Princess of Princess Title, International Princess Title, Princess Tag Team Title, Max Heart Tournament & Tokyo Princess Cup but that all changed on Aug. 22.
In front of a crowd of 742 at Korakuen Hall, Miu Watanabe defeated Arisu Endo in the Tokyo Princess Cup 12 final to become the first wrestler to achieve all of the major accomplishments in TJPW.
Chika Goto’s family owns an Izakaya restaurant called “Umaissho Goto” located in Nishi-Oku, Arakawa, Tokyo, making last night’s Marigold Dream Star GP event at Sunpark Arakawa a true homecoming for “GoChika.” What unfolded was an electric atmosphere that culminated in both disappointment and triumph, as the tournament’s stakes continue to intensify.
The largest event in the history of the Sendai Girls promotion is set for Aug. 24th and is aptly named The Biggest. The event is set to place at the Xebio Arena in Sendai which has a seat capacity of 4,000.
