The big news coming out of Pro Wrestling NOAH was that Go Shiozaki has departed the promotion he has spent the last 20 years competing in.
NOAH announced that after following discussions initiated by Go Shiozaki, it has been decided that his contract with NOAH will not be renewed.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling is set to hold it’s King Of Pro-Wrestling 2025 event at Ryogoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo on Oct. 13th with the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr. making his third defense against the winner of the G1 Climax 35 tournament, Konosuke Takeshita.
Before we get to Oct. 13th, NJPW will present a series of events aptly named Road To King of Pro-Wrestling 2025 which kicks off on Oct. 4th. Two title matches will be featured on the Road To King of Pro-Wrestling 2025 mini tour.
Fresh off the heels of the their huge DESTRUCTION IN KOBE 2025 event, New Japan Pro-Wrestling will hold it’s next big event on October 13th as they present King Of Pro-Wrestling 2025 at Ryogoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo. The road to Wrestle Kingdom 20 at the Tokyo Dome on Jan. 4th 2026 officially kicks off with the King of Pro-Wrestling 2025 event.
On Sept. 28th, STARDOM held it’s “STARDOM IN KITAKAMI” event with a another sold out crowd, this time at the Sunrec Kitakami.
The featured bout was a six woman tag team encounter as the God’s Eye team of Syuri, Ami Sohrei & Lady C faced the H.A.T.E. trio of Natsuko Tora, Ruaka & Konami.
AJPW announced that Xyon & Oddyssey will defend their championship belts against Yuma Aoyagi & Yuma Anzai on Oct. 11th at Gyoda Green Arena. The match will be part of the AJPW 53rd Anniversary tour and is expected to be a very competitive bout for the World Tag Team Titles.
Los Tranquilos de Japon are currently on a new European tour, which includes matches in Spain, Germany, and England.
Yuki Ueno became a three time DDT Pro-Wrestling KO-D Openweight champion on Sept. 28th when he defeated Kazuki Hirata at DDT “DRAMATIC INFINITY 2025” inside of the famed Korakuen Hall.
Dragon Kid and Dragon Dia are visiting Europe and they were invited to compete in Germany by wXw, the biggest promotion of the country and one of the most respected in the scene worldwide.
