By: Lewis Carlan On Jan. 4, 2026, New Japan Pro-Wrestling will hold the 20th edition of its annual event WRESTLE KINGDOM at the Tokyo Dome. One of the featured bouts will see the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Konosuke Takeshita battling the IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji in a massive double title match. A press conference was held today to promote WRESTLE KINGDOM 20. The  two champions came face to face as they discussed their upcoming match. Takeshita and Tsuji engaged in a verbal exchange during the press conference which the NJPW Global X account graciously translated to English. By: Lewis Carlan On Nov. 3rd, Saya Kamitani retained her World of STARDOM and NJPW STRONG Women’s Championships after she defeated Momo Watanabe in a thrilling bout at STARDOM CRIMSON NIGHTMARE 2025. Following her victory, the IWGP Women’s Champion Syuri appeared and challenged Kamitani to match at WRESTLE KINGDOM 20. The bout will be a double title match with Syuri’s IWGP Women’s Title and Kamitani’s NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship both on the line. On Nov. 3rd, All Japan Pro-Wrestling held the final event of their HOKKAIDO DYNAMITE SERIES 2025 tour at the Sapporo APA Hotel & Resort in front of 728 fans in attendance.

By: Lewis Carlan At STARDOM CRIMSON NIGHTMARE 2025, Starlight Kid put her Wonder of STARDOM belt on the line against H.A.T.E. faction member Konami. Kid entered the match holding the belt for nearly a year and was making her seventh title defense. Starlight Kid successfully defended the White Belt against Konami back in March 2025. On Nov. 2nd, Kid faced a different Konami this time around at Ota City General Gymnasium. In match that lasted 21:15, Konami ended Starlight Kid’s 309 day reign as champion when the referee stopped the bout due to her Final Lancer. The victory gave Konami her first singles title in STARDOM. On Nov. 3rd, STARDOM held it’s latest major event STARDOM CRIMSON NIGHTMARE 2025 at the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo. The card featured  a total of eight matches which included three championship bouts.

On Nov. 2, the EDION Arena Osaka #2 hosted Dragon Gate’s THE GATE OF DESTINY 2025 as 865 fans were in attendance for the pro-wrestling event.

The featured bout was an Open The Dream Gate Title bout as the champion Madoka Kikuta made the second defense of his second championship reign as he faced the challenge of Susumu Yokosuka.

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling returned to Shinjuku FACE on November 1st ahead of TJPW RISE ’25 at Korakuen Hall on November 9th.

On November 3rd, STARDOM will present its STARDOM CRIMSON NIGHTMARE 2025 event that is set for the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo. The event will feature eight matches which includes three title bouts.

Having jumped from Stardom to Marigold, and then becoming freelance, many fans have been wondering where MIRAI might take her career next. A match with Tomoko Inaba had already been set for later this month, but MIRAI made a shock appearance at Michinoku Pro Wrestling, which has been confirmed as her new home.

NJPW hosted a Final Homecoming for Hiroshi Tanahashi in Gifu, loading the card with big title matches and the Super Jr. Tag League finals. Coming out of the homecoming show, more pieces are falling into place for NJPW’s return to the Tokyo Dome for Wrestle Kingdom 20.
