NJPW have kicked off the annual New Japan Cup, with two first round matches in the first night. Packed into Korakuen Hall, Yuya Uemura and Don Fale became the first two wrestlers to advance into the second round.
On Feb. 23rd, Mai Sakurai, Natsumi Showzuki & Erina Yamanaka made history as they became the first event Marigold 3D Trios Champions.
On Feb. 28th, the current Future of STARDOM Champion HANAKO successfully defended her title for the third time against Akira Kurogane.
The finals of the NOAH Jr. Tag League took place on March 1st at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s LEGACY RISE 2026 presented by BASE FOOD. There were 1,396 fans in attendance at the legendary Korakuen Hall to see Dragon Bane & Alejandro take on Alpha Wolf & Kai Fujimura in the main event to crown the 2026 Jr. Tag League champions.
STARDOM were in Kariya on their final stop before the Cinderella Tournament kicks off. Building momentum as a tag team, the Itoh Respect Army celebrated a victory before turning their attention to the tournament.
Pro Wrestling ZERO1 returned on February 28th with an event at TOKYO SQUARE in Itabashi. The action packed card was headlined by Katsuhiko Nakajima taking on Junya Matsunaga in a special singles match that saw Nakajima walk away with the victory in just under 15 minutes.
Back on Jan. 10th, the pro-wrestling world was given an unexpected surprise when freelancer star Maki Itoh appeared at a STARDOM event to announce that she has joined the promotion as a full time competitor.
TJPW arrived in Aioi Hall for their next step towards GRAND PRINCESS. Miu Watanabe and Yuki Arai clashed in tag team action, with Watanabe earning a statement win ahead of their Princess of Princess Championship match.
