The event featured a Open The Dream Gate Championship bout as the current title holder Madoka Kikuta defended his title against the challenge of Ben-K. This was Kikuta’s first defense of his second reign of the title he regained on August 17th from Shun Skywalker.

The GHC National Champion Galeno headed into Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Sunny Voyage 2025 event on Oct. 4th to make his fourth defense of his title against former champion Jack Morris. There were 407 fans in attendance at Lives NAGOYA to witness the championship defense made by Galeno.
The New Japan Pro-Wrestling Road to King of Pro-Wrestling 2025 mini tour kicked off on Oct. 4th at the Tokkei Security Hiratsuka General High School with 777 fans in attendance for the event. NJPW had seven matches scheduled for the card.

One massive match that Marigold confirmed on Sept. 26th was current WWE superstar IYO SKY taking on the Marigold Super Flyweight Champion and Icon Mayu Iwatani. The two have lots of history with each other when they both competed in STARDOM.
