On Feb. 23rd, All Japan Pro-Wrestling held its final event of its EXCITE SERIES 2026 tour at the Ota City General Gymnasium. AJPW announced that the attendance was 2,237 for the event that featured three championship bouts as well as the long awaited return of Rei Saito from injury.
The 2026 NOAH Jr. Tag League Finals were decided after NOAH’s LETHAL ODYSSEY TOUR 2026 event in Fukuoka on February 23rd. Team 2000X members Alpha Wolf & Kai Fujimura will face off against Dragon Bane & Alejandro in Korakuen Hall on March 1st to decide the winner of the 2026 NOAH Jr. Tag League.
DDT Pro Wrestling returned to the legendary Korakuen Hall on February 22nd for their HYBRID PERFORMER 2026 event. The action packed afternoon saw the conclusion of the 2026 D GENERATIONS CUP as well as a special singles match between Kaisei Takechi and Yuki Ueno, to celebrate 2 years since Takechi’s pro wrestling debut.
On Feb. 22, Big Japan Pro-Wrestling made its return to Korakuen Hall for another big event.
TJPW took over the Okayama Mirai Hall for Love & Flame ~The Burning Venus Returns~. While Yuki Aino relished her hometown return in the main event, Yuki Arai sent a clear message to Miu Watanabe ahead of their clash for the Princess of Princess title at GRAND PRINCESS.
NJPW and CMLL’s Fantastica Mania tour carried on into Osaka, with the semi-finals of the tour’s tag team tournament taking place. The finals are set to take place on February 24th.
STARDOM hosted an event in the Kobe Art Center, with Aya Sakura acting as the hometown hero in the main event. Addressing the fans in attendance, Sakura reaffirmed her goal of winning the Future of Stardom title, as well as promising to return as the Cinderella Tournament winner.
At TJPW GRAND PRINCESS 2026, MIRAI will defend the International Princess Championship against her former tag team partner, Suzume. Over a month out, the two clashed in tag action at TJPW Final Curtain in KOBE Art Center, in what is likely to be their last encounter before meeting in the Ryogoku Kokugikan.
STARDOM were back in Osaka, with their event being paired with a book signing for Saya Kamitani’s new autobiography. The drama was not confined to the ring however, as Sayaka Kurara crashed Kamitani’s book signing, pleading with the champion to challenge for the World of Stardom Title.
On Feb. 23rd, Marigold will present the latest event of its current MARIGOLD New Year Golden Garden 2026 tour at the famed Korakuen Hall.
