Yoshiki Inamura fulfilled his promise to become the “Captain of the Ship” after defeating Kenta to win the GHC Heavyweight Championship in the main event of NOAH Star Navigation 2025 on November 9. After briefly celebrating with the Korakuen Hall crowd, Inamura called out Kaito Kiyomiya and invited him to be his first challenger for the title. Inamura referenced how Kiyomiya prevented him from reaching the top last year when he returned from his trip to England.
Inamura commented that he needs this victory to fully begin this new chapter of his story. Kiyomiya accepted and indicated that he will have the momentum on his side and will go into his anniversary show as the Heavyweight Champion.
