YO-HEY Vs. Hiromu Takahashi For The GHC Jr. Belt Was Postponed By NOAH

By: Pep S. Caro

There has been a lot of excitement between the fans of Pro Wrestling NOAH, New Japan Pro Wrestling and Junior Heavyweight Wrestling after Hiromu Takahashi appeared at NOAH New Departure Day 1 and Day 2 at Korakuen Hall. After teaming with AMAKUSA to defeat the GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion YO-HEY and Yuto Kikuchi on July 20, he formally challenge YO-HEY to a title match. NOAH confirmed that this match between the most decorated Junior Heavyweight from NJPW in the last decade and the most decorated Junior Tag Team Wrestler from “The Ark”.

YO-HEY has been diagnosed with an orbital floor fracture and will be absent for the time being, and the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship match scheduled for the 11 August Kawasaki event will be postponed. Hiromu Takahashi will still participate in the Kawasaki NOAH show. This kind of injury usually needs at least 6 weeks to heal. So most likely this match can be reschedule to the final show before the N-1 Victory 2025 in case NOAH wants to run the match before their biggest singles tournament of the year.
