The IWGP United Kingdom Champion Will Ospreay has defeated every man that there’s to defeat. In a span of a few months he has conquered Kazuchika Okada, Kenny Omega and Naomichi Marufuji. Currently, there’s not a single wrestler as successful as Ospreay, and he’s aiming big, bigger than ever. With Bryan Danielson’s retirement coming in the next year, the amount of dream matches that have been brought to the table is massive, and of course, Ospreay wants a piece of the American Dragon. Both men have defeated Marufuji and Okada, and both men have been having an outstanding year. Dragon may be in the last steps of his career, but if there’s something he knows how to do, is defeat British wrestlers.

Although, Ospreay is not the only British wrestler who has challenged Danielson. On October 1st, the best technical wrestlers in the world will clash, and Zack Sabre Jr. will look to slay the Dragon. Sabre has a match with Ospreay for Royal Quest coming, and with both aiming for the Dragon, there’s nothing but hype around these three men. Danielson has defeated Okada at Forbidden Door with a broken arm, and we can only imagine what he would do at his 100%. He has not stepped foot in a New Japan Pro Wrestling ring since 2004, and the question remains: Will we see The American Dragon enter the Kingdom of the United Empire? Will we see the dream match of all dream matches between two of the best (if not the best) wrestlers in the world today?
