Victoria Yuzuki Wants Marigold’s United National Championship

By: Pep S. Caro

Victoria Yuzuki is enjoying a great moment just days before the start of the Marigold Dream Star GP 2025. The young wrestler won her first championship at the beginning of the year when she defeated Natsumi Showzuki to win the company’s Superfly Title. Her reign lasted more than four months but ended after losing to Mayu Iwatani at MARIGOLD SHINE FOREVER 2025 in May.

In an interview with Tokyo Sports, Yuzuki revealed that in addition to winning the Dream Star GP 2025, she is focused on winning the United National Championship. In that sense, she would like Mai Sakurai to win the Star League and be able to face her in the Dream Star GP 2025 finals. She invites Sakurai to defend the United National Championship if they face each other in the finals on September 14. Yuzuki indicated that her main goal is to win all of the Marigold Championships and become a Grand Slam Champion. In that sense, her ideal scenario would be to enter GRAND DESTINY 2025 in October at Ryogoku Kokugikan as the United National Champion and add her own color to the already distinctive white belt. She also wants to recapture the Superfly Championship.

Yuzuki competed in her first tour in the United States in early July when she participated in the SUKEBAN event in Los Angeles. It was a quick but new experience for her. That same week, she competed against Takumi Iroha for the Pro Wrestling NOAH GHC Women’s Championship. These matches demonstrate the confidence and expectations placed in her.
