Utami Hayashishita On the Lookout for Goddesses of Stardom Tag League Partner

With just over a month to go until the Goddesses of Stardom Tag League gets underway, Utami Hayashishita has started looking for a partner to team up with. Now on the STARDOM Silver Week tour, Hayashishita has had her eye on a couple of potential candidates.

Hayashishita has had a successful start to the STARDOM Silver Week tour, first picking up a tag team win with Maki Itoh in Tottori. Hayashishita mentioned the tag league in her post-match comments alongside Itoh, but the prospect of teaming beyond Silver Week did not seem to be in the cards with Saya Kamitani still on Hayashishita’s mind.

Itoh:

What’s going on with you? Why have you been arguing like that for so long?

Hayashishita:

Well, it’s not really an argument—it’s not even at that level. It’s just that I’m being a bit of a burden on myself.

Itoh:

So you’re in a hopeless romance, then.

Hayashishita:

Something like that. It’s about time I moved on—I keep saying I’ll move on, but I haven’t actually done it at all. The tag league’s starting soon, so I need to look ahead. Right?

Itoh:

But here’s the thing. Unless you sort out that woman from your past, I don’t want to team up with you. I don’t want to work with someone who’s that high-maintenance.

On the second leg of the tour, Hayashishita won a three-way bout against Fuwa-chan and Anne Kanaya in Fukuyama. Following that three-way, Hayashishita once again expressed her desire to find a partner for the upcoming tag league:
