Kouga Sends Message to OZAWA Following Win Over Masa Kitamiya at N-1 VICTORY 2026 in Tokushima

On September 21st, Pro Wrestling NOAH’s N-1 VICTORY 2026 carried on at the Tokugin Tomoni Arena in Tokushima, with 854 fans in attendance for a night of Block B action.

At the event, Kouga, who has been winless thus far in the N-1, picked up an impressive win over last year’s tournament winner and former TEAM 2000X stablemate, Masa Kitamiya. Kouga came into the match wasting little time, attacking Kitamiya with stiff strikes before interference from YOSHITATSU led to Kouga taking a tour of the front-row seating arrangements, courtesy of Kitamiya.

After getting back to the ring, Kouga was able to regain his composure and stand toe-to-toe with Kitamiya. After nearly ten minutes of back and forth action, Kouga was able to catch Kitamiya with a surprise backslide for the pin following a strong kick to the side of the Chairman’s head, scoring his first two points of the tournament.

In his post-match comments, Kouga sent a message to his former friend and the man who beat him with a backslide in the opening round of the N-1, OZAWA.

From Kouga:

“Got the three-count on Kitamiya, undefeated Kitamiya — OZAWA, you see that? That’s what a real ‘Lightning Reverse Pin’ looks like. Yours isn’t even fit for a live crowd. I’ll say it again — let me teach you some pro wrestling.”

Speaking of OZAWA, The Real Rebel bested Titus Alexander in their Block B match to put him at six points. Elsewhere, Tetsuya Endo picked up the win over Manabu Soya and in the main event, KENOH defeated KENTA with his patented KENOH Special submission. After today’s event, Kitamiya, OZAWA, and Tetsuya Endo are all tied for the current top spot in Block B with six points.

N-1 VICTORY 2026 returns on September 22nd at Act City Hamamatsu in Shizuoka with four Block A matches scheduled for the event, including Kaito Kiyomiya vs. Kazuyuki Fujita.
