Just a little over the year after Unagi Sayaka promised to “assess” the Pirate Princess that had returned to STARDOM, the Kabuki Warrior will finally get her one-on-one opportunity at Fortune Dream 8 on June 14th.

After embarking on her “Gyan Period” late last year, Sayaka has travelled around the joshi puroresu scene looking to access everyone in sight in places such as Diana, JTO, Sendai Girls and Marvelous. Most recently, she had been announced to be facing Billie Starkz at West Coast Pro’s “Queen of Indies” show.
Just a few days prior, Toshiaki Kawada had endorsed Unagi to appear on Kenta Kobashi’s annual self-produced show, seemingly putting things into place. Unagi uploaded a video onto her YouTube channel where she confronted Kobashi, leading to the legendary wrestler to accept her offer to pit against KAIRI; shortly after, Unagi quote-tweeted KAIRI’s tweet announcing her participation in Fortune Dream 8, telling her to be prepared.
