Unagi Sayaka Reveals Which Pro-Wrestler She May Have a Crush On

Back on Sept. 2nd, freelancer superstar Unagi Sayaka turned 40 years old and upon reaching the milestone, she revealed that she hopes to find her true love.

On Sept. 24th, Sayaka appeared on the WAVE event at Shinjuku FACE which also included STARDOM superstar Natsupoi. After the event, Sayaka was asked by reporters backstage about Natsupoi wrapping up her career and heading toward retirement from pro-wrestling. Sayaka mentioned that it was nice to see Natsupoi get married to NJPW superstar Shingo Takagi and said that she is going to follow in her footsteps.

“It’s really moving to see her get married and move on to the next stage of her life. I don’t feel like she beat me to it, but I’m going to be next!” (Translated via Deepl.com)

Sayaka stated that she feels that Takagi and Natsupoi are a perfect match and it was really nice to see two pro-wrestlers get married. She then pondered who would be a good match for her in the world of pro-wrestling and revealed that she may have a crush on the current AJPW Triple Crown Champion Kento Miyahara.

“A marriage between wrestlers is so nice… Who do you think would suit me!? People like Toshiaki Kawada-san or Mitsuharu Misawa-san… Maybe I like older men. I have only seen his matches, but I might like Kento Miyahara from All Japan Pro Wrestling. As a pro wrestler, he is so strong and charismatic that it almost makes me jealous. So the secret is out, Unagi Sayaka has publicly revealed that she could very well have a crush on Kento Miyahara. So the only logical question to ask here is, “Kento-san, what are your feelings towards Unagi Sayaka?”

One has to wonder if Cupid is getting his bow and arrow ready and aiming it at Unagi Sayaka and Kento Miyahara.
