The Pro Wrestling NOAH N-1 VICTORY 2026 kicked off on Sept. 12th as the tournament opening night took place inside the confines of Korakuen Hall. There was an announced crowd of 1,492 fans in attendance for the event.
The first night featured eight block bouts with sixteen competitors hoping to emerged as this year’s tournament winner and go on to challenge current GHC Heavyweight Champion Tetsuya Naito.
Titus Alexander announced on Sept. 11th during a press conference that he had decided to move to Japan and make his mark in NOAH. Alexander began his new life in Japan with a first round tournament bout against NOAH superstar KENOH. Alexander and KENOH engaged in a terrific battle as each tried hard to earn their first two points of the N-1 VICTORY 2026.
After a number of near falls, it was Alexander hitting his Big Ugly finisher on KENOH that was able to end the match via pinfall. The victory was a huge one for Alexander and during his post-match backstage comments, he vowed to win the tournament and go on to become the GHC Heavyweight Champion.
In other action, OZAWA gained two points after he defeated the returning Kouga and Kaito Kiyomiya defeated Alpha Wolf to earn his first two points of the tournament.
