Takumi Iroha Has A Three Word Reply For Mayu Iwatani Calling Her Out At The June 5th Marigold Event

At the June 5th Marigold Burning Desire 2025 event, Mayu Iwatani successfully defended her Super Flyweight Title against Misa Matsui. Following her victory, Iwatani addressed the crowd in attendance at Shinjuku FACE and everyone watching on Wrestle Universe.

While speaking to the fans, Iwatani indicated that she wants to take part in the Marigold vs. Marvelous feud that is set to continue at the June 17th “Burning Desire 2025” event at Korakuen Hall. Iwatani had one Marvelous superstar in mind that she would like to step into the ring with and that competitor is Takumi Iroha.

Iroha defeated Kouki Amarei on June 2nd to become the new GHC Women’s Champion, a title Iwatani has made no secret that she wants around her waist. You can say Iwatani picked Iroha as she is a top talent in Marvelous but the GHC Women’s Championship most likely has a lot to do with it. Iwatani made a strategic choice in Iroha as she is in pursuit of the GHC Women’s Title.

Iwatani asked Iroha for a reply to her challenge and she has gotten one from the Marvelous star. While Iwatani gave a passionate in ring speech, Iroha had a very simple three word response for Iwatani.

“Let’s do it.”

While nothing has been made official yet, there is a good chance Mayu Iwatani will face Takumi Iroha in a highly anticipated match up on June 17th.

Marvelous has been getting the better of Marigold as of late in their ongoing feud. In addition to Iroha defeating Marigold’s Amarei for the GHC Women’s Title, the Marigold Twin Star Titles are held by the Marvelous tandem of Maria & Riko Kawahata who won the belts recently from Nanae Takahashi and Seri Yamaoka. Iroha has a recent singles victory over Yamaoka as well.

With Iwatani now joining the feud, the pendulum may swing back towards Marigold as the Icon is prepared for battle and will proudly represent Rossy Ogawa’s promotion in pursuit of victory.
